Drew and I talked for more than half the time we were on the plane together. I really got to know him a lot, probably likewise for him about him. It was one of those conversations that was really informative, but I probably couldn't repeat everything again. From my first impression, Drew was definitely a great guy and he'd be a really good friend. Besides, he had really great hazel eyes, something that attracted me to him in the beginning when we saw one another in the airport.

I wished that the plane ride to Spain from New York would be shorter. I wasn't a very patient person, but I guess the best way to pass time was to go to sleep, which was basically what I did when I wasn't talking to Drew.

It was actually pretty interesting how much I did talk to Drew. I was usually shy when I first meet new people, but I just felt like I could open up to Drew. Maybe it was his soothing hazel eyes that made me really comfortable. Or his gorgeous smile. Or his awesome personality. He really acted down-to-earth, nothing superficial about him at all.

Anyway, the plane finally touched down in Barcelona, Spain and we were closer and closer to the house that we were spending in for the next ten weeks.

After Wendy and I got our luggage and went through the airport authorities, a camera crew that was going to tape a part of the show greeted us. People in the airport looked at Wendy and I strangely with the camera crew following us. I assumed that was the start of our taped lives for the next ten weeks.

We got into a van, but it was a surprise to us that the camera crew didn't come in with us. After watching the show before, I figured that there were already cameras in the van.

"Can you believe that we're in Spain?" Wendy said.

"I'm still shocked. And we're going to be taped on camera now," I replied.

"Yeah. I think that it'll take me a while to get used to the cameras everywhere. You know?"

"Oh, tell me about it! I'm definitely not used to a camera following me all around."

Wendy and I both looked out the window at all the scenery of Spain.

"Do you know how fair the house is away?" she asked.

"No, but I hope that we get there soon!" I was all giddy and excited.

She pointed out the window toward some street fair. People were dressed up exquisitely. The clothing might not have been expensive, but they were colorful and very festive.

"I'm already liking this," Wendy smiled.

"Have you ever been to Spain before?" I asked her.

"No, not at all. I've always wanted to though since I learned Spanish in high school. I couldn't go to the European trip that my high school had, but now I'm here."

"Oh, I see."

Within another few minutes, we arrived at the house. From the outside of it, it seemed extremely elegant and pretty. It was a couple of stories high. Wendy and I quickly got out of the van and ran to the house.

The flight transfer in Boston was a big mess. Actually, I stayed on the plane because it was only letting passengers to Boston get off and passengers from Boston to Barcelona get on. There was supposed to be a half hour wait or so for the plane to get re-fueled. However, we wound up waiting at the Boston Airport for over two hours because there was heavy fog and they were predicting a heavy thunderstorm too. Just as they were going to postpone the flight, we lifted off because there was a little break between the fog and the storm. Good thing that we left because I really wanted to get to Barcelona soon to see my roommates.

Leaving Seattle was very difficult for me because I had just gotten back together with my on-again, off-again boyfriend of two years, Alex. We only got back together about a couple of weeks ago, which made leaving especially hard. I knew full well that there were going to be good-looking guys in Spain, and probably in at least one of my roommates too. As much as I loved Alex, I was one of those girls who couldn't really resist getting to know good-looking guys, if not more. I guess that it was a risk that I was willing to take when I first auditioned to be on "Real World".

Removing my attention from Alex to the movie screen in the front of the room, I started to drift off to sleep.

<> Lance <>

It seemed like that Nick and I had been on the plane for forever, but as I looked at my watch again, I realized that it had only been about three hours since we had left Orlando. Nick was fast asleep almost right from the moment he got on the plane. His reason was because he said that he was afraid of flying on planes and the only way that he'd be able to get through most of the flight was to sleep it off. If he knew that he was that bad on planes, he shouldn't have auditioned for a show that would definitely take him on a plane. That definitely wasn't the smartest thing to do.

I started to read a magazine that I had brought along with me. I flipped through the pages and saw a model in an advertisement. It was Danielle, my ex-girlfriend. We had broken up about a week before I was notified of the "Real World". We had been together for about six months, but things just weren't working out. I just couldn't deal with the fact that she was busy a lot of the times that I needed to see her. As much as I respected her and her job, I just wanted to have a girlfriend who was going to be there more than Danielle was. The good part, if there was one, from the breakup was that we stayed as good friends. We still kept in touch through the phone and I saw her from time to time when she went home to Mississippi.

Slowly, but surely, I drifted off to sleep holding the magazine in my hands.

I finally arrived in Spain. The feeling of getting there was definitely overwhelming. I was just so anxious to get to Barcelona, and then I was finally there. I looked over at the waiting area, knowing that I was going to see one of my roommates, but none of the people looked like they were going to be on the show. I put down my luggage and walked over to one of the television monitor. All I knew of this person was that she was going to come off of a flight from Boston. The monitor said that the flight was delayed, but was going to arrive in half an hour.

I took a seat by my luggage and waited for the plane to arrive.

After a little while, which went by pretty slow, I saw the status for the flight from Boston listed as arrived. It was blinking and I stayed seated and waited. Finally, I saw a tall blonde walking to the waiting area. Something told me that was the person I was looking for. She headed toward me and finally saw me.

"Are you going to be on 'Real World'?" I asked shyly.

"Yeah, I guess that you're one of my roommates. My name is Sara," she introduced herself, extending her hand.

I shook her hand. "My name is Aryela."

"Pardon?" she asked politely.

I said my name slower this time. "It's Aryela."

We smiled at each other and we both knew that this was going to be fun. We took our luggage outside and headed to the limo. A camera crew was surrounding us and we knew that our stint on "Real World" was starting. The limo took us away from the airport as we headed to the house.

<> Nick <>

After hours of being on the plane, Lance and I finally landed in Barcelona. I slept away most of those hours, except for being awake for a few times. However, this time being on the plane wasn't really that bad. My anxiousness to get to Spain had overwhelmed my fear of flying.

At the airport, we were greeted by the limo that was going to take us to the house and a camera crew that was taping our actions. In the limo, Lance and I were fascinated by almost everything that appeared within our sight. Spain was definitely really beautiful, at least I thought so. Soon enough, our limo stopped behind another as we knew that we had reached our destination.

Lance and I got out of the limo as we walked up to the limo in front of us. Apparently, they had just gotten to the house as well. we walked up to a couple of girls.

"Hi, I'm Nick," I introduced myself.

"And I'm Lance," he said.

We both extended our hands to the girls.

"I'm Aryela," the taller one said.

"I'm Sara. It's really nice to meet the both of you," she said as she was shaking my hand.

"Are we the first ones here, or are the other two already here?" Lance asked as he looked around and admired the outside of the house.

Just as Lance said that, we saw a guy coming from the back of the house.

"Hi, I see that everyone is here," the guys said. "I'm Drew."

We all shook hands and walked to the back of the house, where we saw a girl.

"Hi, sorry, I'm-"

"Wendy?"
