After getting home from work, Ben walked Maria out to the beach as he had promised to do.
"Why do I feel so attached to the ocean? I don't understand," Maria asked Ben as she got emotional. "Did something happen here?"
"Well not exactly," Ben said thoughtfully.
Maria walked closer to the ocean. Slowly, the water was up to her knees. Ben started to go after Maria. "What are you doing?"
"There's just something that I'll need to find out, and I think that this is going to help me," Maria answered. "What happened here?"
"Maria, you need to remember this on you own, like Dr. Estrada said," Ben grabbed Maria away from the ocean and walk up to the beach. "I think that we should go."
As they walk towards Ben's house, Maria purposely tripped over her own sandals and grabbed Ben down with her. Their faces were just inches away from one another's.
At the same moment, Sara jogged by the beach, seeing all of this as it happened. "I don't believe this," Sara thought. "How come they're always together?"
As usual, Sara marched toward Meg's house to tell Meg what she had seen. Meanwhile, on the beach, Maria and Ben inch closer t a kiss until Ben stopped himself.
Back to reality for Maria, she said, "How silly of me to trip over my own sandals!" she smiled and Ben helped her get up. Slowly, they walked toward Ben's house.
Neither Ben nor Maria realized that Meg was home as they walked in from the porch, laughing happily together. Just ten feet away were Sara and Meg on the couch.
"Hi, we didn't realize that you came home already," Maria began.
"What's so funny with the two of you?" Sara asked suspiciously.
Although Sara took Casey's advice about not interfering in Meg, Ben and Maria's problem, she just couldn't help herself from being suspicious of Maria's action, especially lately. "Ben and Maria had been spending a lot of time with one another," Sara thought.
"We were just sharing a little story about me in the past," Maria answered.
"Meg looked up and down both Ben and Maria.
"Oh, and you're probably wondering why in the world we're so wet. We just went for a walk and the waves hit us," Ben answered. "So, Sara, how are you doing?"
"I'm fine and I need to be leaving now. I have a date with Casey tonight," Sara said and turned toward Meg. "I'll see you later."
"Yeah, bye," Meg said and Sara walked out. "So, did anything come back for you, Maria?"
"No, nothing that wasn't here before. All I know is that I feel that some answers are from the ocean and this house, but I just can grasp what it is."
"Well, I'm sure that you'll get your memory back soon," Meg said bitterly, annoyed at how Maria was near Ben always.
"I hope so too," Maria tried to smile politely. "You know what, I'm going to go up and change now."
Maria walked upstairs and Ben asked, "What's the matter, Meg?"
"Nothing, I was just wondering where you were when I came back, but obviously you were out with Maria."
"Come on, Meg, you knew that I promised her to go to the beach after work. Besides, you have nothing to worry about because I love you."
"I love you too, Ben, but I don't know if I can stand you two together for any longer," Meg said, with tears in her eyes.
Knowing what Meg needed, Ben gave her a hug.
