Sean was sitting at Shockwave as Leo walked in.
"Hi, Sean," Leo said.
"Hey, man, what's up?" Sean answered.
"Nothing much. Just the typical day in Sunset Beach."
Both of them laughed.
"Oh, I know what you mean."
On the other side of Shockwave, Ricardo entered and walked over to Amy. Leo and Sean followed.
"Ricardo," Amy began. "Any word on my father?"
"Yes, but this isn't good news. I was questioning Cole and Antonio and I'm not quite sure how to explain it to you. The jewels that your father had caused his death," Ricardo explained.
"What do you mean, Ricardo?" Leo asked.
"There's an evil power that existed in the jewels and because he had a long contact with them, the jewels aged him a lot quicker and caused his ultimate death."
Amy, Sean and Leo all had blank looks on their faces.
"Remember how you guys looked like you got much older on Christmas Eve?" Ricardo continued. "That's what happened to your father, Amy, only that he experienced the aging much sooner than you guys did."
"I don't believe this," Amy finally said after a moment. "How can he be dead?"
"I'm sorry, Amy. I don't know what to say to say. It's all very strange to say the least," Ricardo said. "Listen, I have to go, but I just thought that I'd come by to tell you about your father."
"Thanks for everything, Ricardo."
Ricardo nodded and left Shockwave.
"How in the word did this happen?" Amy cried.
Sean walked closer to hug Amy. "it's okay, Amy. There's probably no logical explanation for this."
"Daddy was the only person who cared about me. How did this happen? Things weren't that great between us these last couple of months, but it wasn't supposed to happen like this."
"Amy, I'm really sorry about your father. I don't know what else to say," Leo aid.
"It's okay, Leo. It's really weird situation for me too. Thanks anyway," Amy replied.
"Listen, you guys, I have to go now. I'll see you guys later," Leo said and turned around to leave.
However, at the door was Emily. She turned around out the door, but Leo got to her.
"Emily, that isn't what you think it is."
"Oh, no?" Emily said hysterically.
"Ricardo came by to tell us hat Amy's father is gone and she's really upset about it."
"Amy must feel so bad, but that still doesn't excuse Sean."
"Emily, you have nothing to worry about. Sean loves you. He's just trying to comfort Amy. She's going through a tough time right now," Leo replied.
"I hope that you're right," Emily smiled.
"Of course I am," Leo laughed and they both left.
