Jeff made sure that he had all his things packed. After a lot of convincing, he finally found out where she lived. He had to travel two-thirds across the country, but he was willing to make any sacrifice to find her again. He had told Drew about his plan, who had been completely supportive. After saying their goodbyes, Jeff left his house in search for his wife.
Driving down the dusted road, he ran his fingers through his hair. Even if he still had a long while until finding her, he imagined for ten years for this day. He wanted to find her, and that was it. He imagined conversing with her, preparing what he would say and how she would react.
Ten years could really change a person. She was probably not the same person that she had been, but neither was he. All he wanted to do was to let her know that he still loved her wholeheartedly. He wanted the same for her, but he knew that it was almost impossible to happen. She'd probably already moved on completely with her life, but it didn't matter to him.

Jeff arrived in the city of Boston during the night and rented a room at a small motel. He took a picture of her out of his wallet. It had been worn down through all the time, but he still treasured it. He gently touched the picture and knew that he was closer than ever to finding her.
He knew that he had to find her. He wasn't going to give up until he did just that. He had gone through too much. He knew that he should be happy for himself for accomplishing such a difficult feat, but it all didn't matter without her to share it with. That was the reason why he strove so hard to get his life back into order before finding all over the country for her.
He took a deep breath for the Boston air. He looked up at the sky and wished that he would find her soon.
