Jeff had pondered around the city of Boston for a few days. He basically settled into his hotel room, and looked around the city to get more familiar with it. Finally, he decided to find out where she lived exactly.

Her address was scribbled on a piece of paper given to him to Drew's girlfriend. After a lot of begging, she finally gave him the address. He had marked the directions on a map, which sat on the passenger seat of his car. Nearly half an hour later, he reached the neighborhood where she resided. The particular neighborhood was quite peaceful and quiet. The sun was shining through the bright green leaves on the trees. Birds were singing through the clear air.

Jeff turned onto her road and drove slowly down the street until he reached her house. Number 34.

He looked at the house. It was painted in an off-white color with the door a deep forest green. The porch had a couple of lawn chairs, and a couple of bicycle, probably that of Scotty and Josie. His children. He longed to see his children again. He just wanted his family back.

After looking at the house for what seemed like hours, he decided not to ring the doorbell. He still hadn't prepared what he was going to tell her, and his children. He didn't know what it was going to be like. She could very well be remarried, with more children. He just didn't know what he was going to do if she was home.

So he turned around and back to his hotel. He just needed a little more time, hopefully just a day, before seeing her.

Jeff was lying in his bed, looking at the ceiling. The radio wasn't on, and neither was the television. He was thinking in his own little universe.

He wondered what she looked like. After all, it had been ten years since he saw her last. He wished that nothing about her had changed, including her feelings for him. She was just perfect, but he ruined that about her, or so he thought in his heart.

Everybody need a little time away
I heard her say, from each other
Even lovers need a holiday
Far away from each other
